No Way!!! I have to work my butt off to allow my kids to go to College. I'm NOT paying for a CRIMINAL to get a FREE (to them) education!!!

I'm a mother of three struggling to pay for my daughters state college tuition. She has worked very hard in high school and is living at home to keep the cost down. I work everyday to provide for my family. I do NOT agree that prisoners should have the privilege of a college education. It's a privilege not a right!

I have two kids in college, both on loans that we'll be paying back. Why should people who have broken the law badly enough to end up in prison go on a free pass. This is yet another lousy idea from our illustrious state government (and a slap in the face to the rest of us.)

It is unfair that my kids are in debt paying for their college education when prisoners would get a free ride. They should take out loans and repay them once they get out. Taxpayers should not foot the bill for this.

I can barely pay for myself to get through college I'm not about to be ok with paying for criminals to get a degree. They are in there for a reason. They already get enough while there in there.
