Taxpayers should NOT have to pay for free college for inmates. There are soooo many people paying off school loans,and there is no help for them

Why reward the bad guys? THey already had an equal chance to attend school on the publics dollar--it's called public education. Higher education. . should go towards the struggling parents and our own kids. Not willing criminals.

Yeah, let's strip the budget for public education (via an unconstitutional 2% tax cap an cuts in State Aid) and pay for the education of convicted felons. This defies logic even for this Governor.

I am struggling to put two kids through college. One has been looking for work for 6 months, with no employment from last full time job because he quit a part time job to work full time. Then he was laid off. NYS government doesn't have a clue.
