This should only be considered if and when hard working college kids aren't routinely coming out of colleges with tens and sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.

Bad plan - who many drug stores will be robbed so a lazy, good for nothing can go to college on tax payers money while my grandsons have to work hard, get a job and pay off student loans.
I'm a college financial aid administrator and I think this is insane. Put the funding towards TAP, HEOP or other state programs to help disadvantaged students.

The Governor needs to redirect these resources to help the hard working people of New York, who already pay to support the criminals who are in prison.

This is rediculous, as usual for NYS. We lost 100,000 people last year. How many more do we have to lose before we wake up.

Why not legalize medical/recreational marijuana and tax it and have that pay for programs such as these? When will NYS get with it?

I have six grandchildren that need to go to college. They will all have to pay for it. Some politicans already want to give free college to illegal aliens. Now this????
