No free college for inmates. I had to work and pay my own way, so should they. Help the middle class for their kids college funds. Make jails a deterrent and strip them of any luxuries and give them the basics to survive, too much of a country club prison is .

You got to be kidding me !!!! I should of told my children to break the law and go to jail to get a college education. All 3 of my children went to college, all had to get loans and I help all 3 of them. Now you want to use my tax money to pay prisoners !!!!! If you want to spend millions of $$$$ give it to Western NY to upgrade our roads.

I can't afford to pay college tuition for my own children, and Uncle Andy wants me to pay for the lawbreakers instead? That's just plain stupid politics. Does nothing but gain more votes for his political base. I'd like to see another petition asking for Andrew Cuomo to move out of New York state and leave the rest of us law-abiding, tax-paying, SAFE Act opposing, freedom loving individuals alone.

it is unfair to the lawbiding citizens with college age children. we pay for their incarceration. i don't feel we should pay for the education that they should have gotten growing up.
