Why should I be in debt for doing the right thing and they get rewarded for doing the wrong thing?!

Offer Prisoners technical training so they have a trade & give the college aide to taxpaying citizens.

Tax breaks for hard working citizens for an affordable college tuition. Not for lawbreaking criminals!

Glad I worked 40 hours a week overnight (then went to class in the morning) to PAY FOR MY OWN COLLEGE EDUCATION while these CRIMINALS may get it for being CRIMINALS. Really makes me want to stay in New York. First the SAFE Act and now this?! Unbelievable....

I'm a veteran and I am going to college with my gi bill that I earned. I dropped a class and have to pay 700 dollars because of it. But the governor wants to give 100% free college to criminals? That's a joke and he's a joke

As my son struggles to pay off college loans and work for very low wages, I wish to see him and others like him be assisted with college funding before my tax dollars are used to subsidize incarcerated persons in state prisons.

This State is in enough debt already. I refuse to reward a criminal for bad behavior.

I would love for the Governor to fully fund K-12 education first before offering free classes to those in prison. Perhaps if our kids had a better education in K-12, including all the academic subjects, plus art, music, gym, and recess, and some trade school training in high school, then they wouldn't end up in jail. Get education right the first time around and then you don't have as many in prison to remediate.
