I can't believe the governor would propose a plan like this. He will not receive my vote in the next election. I'm a registered democrat, but enough is enough !!!!!!

I struggle to put my kids through college and I am going to pay for an inmate???? Hell no. My Daughter said to me..so all I have to do to get a college education is get arrested and let someone else pay for it? Way to go Cuomo...got any other bright ideas?

Why should people who committed crimes have the chance to get a FREE college education? THEY SHOULDNT. Law abiding citizens have to pay THOUSANDS of dollars for educations, inmates should have to pay too, if not MORE

I strongly DISAGREE with Cuomo's plan. Upstanding members of our society are struggling to pay for themselves or their children to get a post secondary education, why should we reward criminals with a free education?

There are so many college graduates out there carrying phenomenal amounts of debt. Many can't get a job and often are forced into a near poverty lifestyle just to try to get out of debt. These are the people who will be productive members of society given the chance. The State should instead reward these graduates by using these funds to lower their debt load. Giving criminals a college education is a profound joke. All it will do is turn out highly trainined criminals that can use their new found skills to excel in organized crime. The bleeding heart liberals behind this campaign need a dose of reality.
