You're going to give prisoners free tuition, but not hardworking 20-year olds like myself, who are working an obscene number of hours to try and pay for school. Seems a little backwards to me!

The problem i see is this. No matter how much you educate a criminal, they still wont be able to successfully reintegrate into society because of the stigma attached to prison. Those degree will be worthless when they get out because no one will hire an ex convict. And further more i feel that it is completely wrong that i pay 27,000 a year to get an education and these bums will get it for free, and to top it off i also have to pay for theirs

Prisoners get the same opportunity to compete for funding? And because they are unable to work they demonstrate a higher need than a college student so the fundin will all go to them? This makes sense to you? It doesn't to me!

Law abiding citizens struggle paying for college and have to balance hectic lives working full time to maintain their food and shelter costs. These people break the law, have all costs of living and healthcare paid for and we should give them an education too? This is ridiculous!
