My grandchildren cant afford to go to college without incurring a multitude of debt. I find it horrifying to think the worst citizens in our state would be given free tuition. Its disgusting.

This is basically telling people to go out and commit crime so that they can get a free education while they are in jail . What about those who want an education but can't afford it and do not commit crime ? Giving free education is not going to rehabilitate any one ,

My son who has never committed a crime cannot go to college...why reward someone who is already living off our tax payer dollars a free college degree. Way to go Cuomo!

This is an insult to all law abiding taxpayers. This is just one of many issues that show Mr. Cuomo is out of touch with both reality and what the taxpayers really want. In my opinion all he is doing is catering to special interest groups without having the best interest of the taxpayer in mind.

This is ridiculous! I cannot support this plan. A lot of prisoners are illiterate, I would support a literacy program for them. But NOT a free college education.
