Absolutely ridiculous. As if the prisoners in this country don't have it good enough already. So instead of spending $60,000 on my college education (which I am begrudgingly paying off now) maybe I should have just committed a crime and and went to prison to get free college! Maybe next they will buy them all new cars!

No. Let them take out loans with a cosigner. I'll be lucky if I can pay back my student loans before I die.

This is disgusting! I worry every single day about how my son, a straight A student, will go to college since we can't afford it. Yet these criminals will get handouts? NO WAY!!!

Prisoners should not get rewarded for commiting a crime. My kids are going it alone for college as it is impossible for me to help.

I can't afford to move out of my parents house at age 24 because I spend a vast majority of my income paying back school loans. In no way do I support a free education for someone who has neglected the law. I work hard and have to pay on my own. If they want an education they should get one the same way as law-abiding citizens do.
