I have two daughters who will be paying student loans a long time. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!

No one is volunteering to pay my college debt off for me and I'm a tax payer with just part-time work even though I am a certified NYS Teacher!

I can not afford college for my children, so I mght as well tell them to go to jail and tell the jugde that they are guilty because they are in it for the free college education!!!

Too many people struggle to pay for a college education. Now the governor wants taxpayers to reward prisoners with a taxpayer funded college education? How nuts is this? Reward people for going to prison and those who work hard and do the right thing, hey, you're on your own!

As A taxpayer, and a Viet NamVet, who had to work his entire life to support his family, and couldn't go to college, I find it truly shocking that the gun Nazi in Albany would think of spending more of my money to pay for prisoners to get a college degree when taxpayers don't get the same consideration.

It is becoming to comfortable for prisoners. Don't waste the state's money on college for persons who have done wrong. Save the money the state would pay and help pay for deserving students. Put the money back into fixing this state.

I'm a tax paying citizen. I work hard for my money. I pay for an education why should I hand over my tax dollars to benefit a felon when I can't even get a break. NY is messed up.
