I think the same should be done with the proposal to allow illegal aliens to get in-state tuition rates.

I went into debt that I am still dealing with and still couldn't afford to finish college and he wants me to pay for criminals to get a free education?! I don't think so.

I worked full time and went to college and took care of two young children and paid for it all myself. Let inmates earn their education like I did and like my children did. My daughter paid off her loans for many year after graduation. Inmate have done crimes against society and to give them a free college degree is a slap in the face to all of us that worked and earned our degree.

Enough is enough! Stop this nonsense and pay attention to the middle class. We're dying here and no one cares! We need to treat inmates more like they do in Arizona!!!!

Why would I pay for someone else to go to college. Perhaps a better use of state funds would be programming and supports for public school districts. Loss of funding means cuts to teachers, counselor s, and social workers.

We should be more concerned with giving our children a better education than prisoners!!

What an outrage!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most of us hard-working citizens can't afford to go to college, not to mention trying to find the time between taking care of our families and working! In my opinion, prisons should be miserable places so nobody wants to go back! They shouldn't have nearly as many luxuries as they have already. There is no way we should support this!
