On environmental day, we pledge to make the society cleaner and eco friendly. On many other days, we follow the beach and the canpus cleanups. Swatch Bharath is what we preach. If we now burst crackers, all the preachings are debased. Neither is there credibility in students' pledge nor does it show an actual willingness to save the environment. It is also a clear show of hipocrisy on students actions and the administrations words and speeches. Consequently, the administration's preachings set a negative impact on students' trust on the administration. Why should respect any of your other statements, promoises or rules?
My roll no is 17CO208. Use of crackers must be prohibited in the campus. Besides creating a lot of pollution they even harm animals and insects.
Please stop bursting crackers .It not only saves earth from global warming but also saves the lives of animals and insects which die during bursting of these crackers.
Very good initiative. Had this in mind from first year, but couldn't find a way. Hope this petition will bring change. Wishes.
Instead of bursting fire crackers let's decorate the campus with beautiful diyas and celebrate an eco friendly dipavali Roll number- 16CH32

Earth doesn't need sympathy. The earth has seen a lot and will continue to exist with or without us. So you need to save yourself.......
