Ending Daylight Savings Time is not necessary and it is not mandatory either. It is optional and not all states participate in this event. Florida can choose to do the same thing and SAY NO TO ENDING DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME IN FLORIDA.

Who likes getting off work in the dark? Who likes their children getting out of school/ getting off the school bus in the dark? Also, daylight savings time causes us to turn on our lights earlier in the day because it gets dark earlier. This is not good for our environment when we are in a time of desperate need to conserve our resources as much as possible.

On a lighter note, who else besides me has a hard time adjusting and getting the faily to adjust to the new time schedule? Research shows that the less daylight we are exposed to the more depressed we get. This will greatly benefit our own health and cut down on crime in Florida.

We will be happier, safer, and more productive if we SAY NO TO DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME IN FLORIDA!

Thank you for signing this petition and please pass along to all of your friends and family. Post on Facebook, Twitter, Email, and anywhere else you can! Let's get this done Florida!

I don’t want to get off work and it be dark already. Parents and kids need those couple hours after school for outside play, why anyone would choose to take that away makes zero sense. Has anyone thought about afternoon traffic on the busy highways, and how much worse it will be at dark?

It is very depressing in the winter months when it is dark at 5:30. Getting home from work in the dark you have no time outside to enjoy the sun. So less activity locked up in the house for longer hours so weight is being put on less vitamin D. It is very depressing. We live in florida to be outside and to enjoy the sun. Which can not be done during the the winter months
