In this petition I propose that we, the citizens of the State of Montana, move forward to abolish Daylight Savings in our state. Both Arizona and Hawaii have successfully chosen to separate themselves from this antiquated process of resetting our clocks in order to take advantage of longer hours of daylight during the fall/winter months. In addition, United States Territories, Guam, PuertoRico, American Samoa, and the Virgin Islands do not participate in this process. None of the above mentioned states/territories have fallen into economic or moral hardship as a result of their decision and I propose that we follow their example.

Daylight savings time changes are not helpful but I think that we should pick one of the times...keep the clocks set early is good for me.
