When we lived in Marlow most of the localindependent stores were replaced by global chains which was a disaster for the High Street. Once gone they will not return.

That shop needs to be used for something worth putting in Pangbourne. Look at the restaurants hairdressers coffee shops little shops. How about u put something there whats going to help Pangbourne n not run existing businesses to the ground. I say put another pet store there or a big home bargins

we definitely do not need a big business like Costa Coffee in Pangbourne it will put all the other independent coffee shops out of business also I bet they are cheaper than Costa!!! Pangbourne needs to stay independent with independent businesses!!!

I love costa coffee but it is not needed in Pangers. However my sis lives in Tilehurst and saysa it is screaming out for something there!

Competition is good in raising standards. Costa Coffee is part of Whitbreads, their Corporation tax bill for the last 12 months exceeded £94million - hardly a small figure!

I do not want Costa Coffee to open in Pangbourne. It will negatively affect the character of our village and put local businesses out of work. Tell them to go elsewhere
