Bexley will suffer without it’s own police force. Our low crime borough statistics will increase damaging the image of our area. I say no to merging with Lewisham and Greenwich

Police services in Bexley cannot be cut any further without encouraging law breaking by criminal opportunists.

Any amalgamation of Police units will ultimately lead to lower response times in Bexley due to the higher crime figures in Greenwich and Lewisham.

So after the merger with Lewisham & Woolwich Bexley, as it has the lower crime rate, will be left without any police as they will all be attending the other crime infested areas. Bexley with then become a target for crime as it is left undefined. Sham on you.

I cannot believe this is happening without consulting the people of Bexley. Why has Bexley Council not brought this to our attention?

Bexleyheath has an excellent Command Unit in the Centre Bexleyheath which is able to attend an incident in minutes getting from Lewishan or Greenwich could cost lives because of the distance to Bexleyheath.

The proposal is so totally irresponsible and will dilute the current number of available Police Officers still further as they are corporately spread across a wider area. You are serving London well Mr Khan; I don't think!

Khan tried to take away our very efficient Police Station but fortunately was prevented. Why should he control the entire Metropolitan Police budget !

Just because you claim that Bexley is the safest borough is no reason for you to cut our cops. We need them to stay here, dedicated to our borough !

I could not get a police response either on 999 or 101 when a young man was banging on my porch door at 1.15 am on 16.12.2017

This move is illogical, taken without considering the effects that reduced officers and increased response times will have a negative effect on the well being of Bexley residents across the borough.
