This will seriously impact the safeness of our borough and give a green light to people intent on criminal activities. Awful idea.

This is terrible... what is the matter with this present mayor? Safety of citizens comes first...

Maybe Bexleys crime stats are low as we do have a police force. It's not right that we pay for services that are getting taken away and putting vulnerable people at risk. Bexley borough is a great place to live and I don't want that to change

this will mean that Bexley police who do a good job in our area will be pulled into helping out Lewisham in particular whose crime is much higher than ours. talking to a detective as a member of Magistrates Courts Observers Panel, at court he old me where it has been trial led it is not working!

Our police are stretched as it is just because our crime rate is lower than the other boroughs doesn't mean we need them less

I am in total agreement to keep our Bexley police separate. If Lewisham/Greenwich cannot be in control of their areas, I do not wish to go the same way

I live in Bexley, and haven't seen a police officer for years! Lewisham has a much higher crime rate, so are dwindling police force in Bexley will be deployed in Lewisham. This will leave us open to even more burglaries and other crimes which are on the increase in our borough!
