If this lawlessness rises much more people will be calling for the M25 to be a wall.

Bexley Borough has always had its own police command unit and that how it should be . The so called London mayor should sort out his own problems without trying to steal the Bexley police unit.

Sadiq Khan seems to be on a mission to ruin London and take away all that’s good in the borough of Bexley. He really is creating a London race to the bottom.

To merge Bexley, Greenwich and Lewisham is false economy, it will mean lower response times, especially in an area where crime levels are lower. Which Boroughs will be given priority - I suspect it will be those with a higher crime rate!

This is poorly thought out and will be very damaging for Bexley with resources inevitably being focussed on the other two boroughs.

It will be impossible to do undo the consequences of these cuts on safety. With increasing threats and crime, this move makes no sense. It looks like a knee jerk response to deficits accumulated over years. Instead of cutting down police staffing and services, there needs to be a transparent resource mobilisation strategy with people reps on board, coupled with a zero tolerance for wasteful expenditure.

This would be very detrimental to policing of the area I represent. Currently we have excellent policing, efficiently shared across other Welling wards.

It is ridiculous to rob the borough of Bexley of a police command unit. Please do not take this action.
