Say no to condo development at Riverstone

At a meeting on Dec 13th, 2011, at the Riverstone Golf and Country Club, KIRKOR Architects & Planners presented a proposal to develop an integrated urban center on plot of land at the North-East corner of McVean Drive and Queen Street East in Brampton, Ontario.
The proposal would build 1000 residential units in three 20 story builds and three 8 story buildings. Also proposed are a hotel, office building, 3 restaurants and mixed retail/residential units.
The plot of land in question is very small and is surrounded by the Clairville Conservation Area and a upscale neighbourhood.
This proposal is not in the best interests of the Riverstone community.
Sign this petition if you disagree with the proposed development plan. Let's send a message to the developers and Brampton city council.
