Exactly. Not sure why that Business owner n the Mayor are the ones to decide, if the statue goes up, instead of the people. If it does go up, it can be blown up/destroyed anonymously. This statue will only cause problems because no one wants it on the Island.

That statue would be a disgrace to all Puertoricans n our Ancestors that we're slaughtered by Columbus and those with him. knowing the history of our Country one would think our Government would be much more sensitive of this issue. This statue is a disgrace and an insult to the native people of the Caribbean and many others. It is clear that the person and persons who want this statue erected are extremely un educated and know nothing about their ancestors history.
