To even consider this statue is an outrage, why celebrate the perpetrator of atrocities in the Americas?

Use the money to highlight some of Puerto Rico's real leaders and heroes- not this symbol of Eurocentric white supremacy and exploitation!

Columbus is a symbol of genocide by erecting a statue of him will be fostering a white washed version of history.

Take down this statue of the WORST SERIAL KILLER in history. Why is the USA still celebrating the massacre of many innocent native Americans, and why is this statue being forced on us? Down with the statue!

Christopher Columbus doesn't deserve to have a Statue in Puerto Rico. There should be a Statue of an Ancient Puerto Rican who has done something good for his Island.
