Due to our state’s inability to balance the 2018 budget, the Governor and State Representatives have proposed to institute a co-pay for your child when he /she visits our office. If this happens, your co-pay may be $5.00-$8.00 due at the time of your visit. Dr. Brown and staff seriously oppose this idea. It is our belief that this will keep many parents from coming in to the office when their child /children are sick, simply because of a great hardship on their household budget. The volume of support has reached a level that allows us to formally request a meeting with the Governor’s office to discuss the impact of these co-pays. My staff is currently finalizing the presentation of these signatures to ensure they are delivered to each State Representative effectively.

Every dollar counts when you are struggling and this copay is going to make it impossible for me to take my kids to the doctor.
Families who use Medicaid as their primary insurance do so due to financial issues an will be unable to pay a copay

I DONT THINK THAT THERE SHOULD BE A COPAY FOR CHILDRENS VISITS.
IF I HAVE TO PAY I WONT GO TO THE CLINIC ANYMORE
