Just remember if you vote Labour at the local elections your just going to get more of this were your opinion and concerns are not listen to and just dismissed. Has anybody heard the local Labour Cllr's views on this? Has there even been a squeak from them? No!
The only way for the people of Houghton, Newbottle and the surrounding areas to have a voice is to vote in the Independent Cllr's again - local people that actually care.

Ridiculous to close the junction - it will just cause traffic issues elsewhere. Rather than spending money on their own vanity projects (Keel Square) the council should listen to what the local people say and work with us ..... not against us. However as per usual - Sunderland Council doesn't care past the Board Inn.

no way this should be closed, it's a major route in and out of newbottle and will have a big impact on local residents and businesses.

As i now live in bournemouth,whenever I visit, its the only easy junction to turn off! don't close it because it won't effect them as they don't turn off there!
