Hwy 73 will not handle that much traffic . The speed limit is already too high around subdivisions and pedestrians , a new primary school speed in mornings as well as the high traffic in Dutchtown HS and main road for employees at chem plants. It's too much. Builders will not assist city in paying for widening and road improvements.

Until the infrastructure is substantially improved, I vote a resounding NO to any new subdivisions on Highway 73. Hwy 73 is a parking lot in the morning trying to get to I-10. The “new” schools already have T-buildings to accommodate the overcrowding, and Longwood Subdivision (located adjacent to proposed development) already deals with serious drainage issues.

Please vote no!!! Highway 73 and the existing neighborhoods cannot handle the traffic and drainage issues such a large subdivision will bring.

73 cannot handle any more traffic. It should not take 20-30 minutes to get from White Rd to I-10 at 7 am. Not to mention the drainage and sewer issues that are not being addressed.

Very against this proposed subdivision with the implications it has for traffic, water runoff, and sewer in the area. Was at the March meeting but will likely not go to July meeting due to Covid exposure. I have no issue with this family selling their property, but I have an issue with the developers building such a large subdivision. Find someone who wants a lot of land/farm to buy it or see if the parish will buy it. NO DEVELOPERS.

We do not need anything more housing till something is done to combat the traffic and over loaded schools. Just look at Dairy Queen and how that blocks traffic and now you are adding a school and hospital on a road that takes too long to get to and from work.

More infrastructure is needed before adding more residents. A few stop lights here and there will not do. Drainage is a major issue still. The failed redo of hwy 73 still causes massive traffic issues and will only worsen with a new school and hospital. Please do not gridlock morning commuters even more so than what you’ve already done. Everyone wants growth, but it needs to be executed in a better fashion. If not, we will be playing catch up for decades to come.

Traffic is terrible already, both on Hwy 73 and Airline in the morning. We do not need the extra traffic on Hwy 73.

Please improve our infrastructure to handle the bottle neck traffic on Hwy 73 morning and evening commute before building any additional housing. We are already ten years behind in traffic management.

absolutely deficient infrastructure to accommodate 400 more vehicles on hwy 73.
