Every profession should manage their specific areas

It's an act of selfishness. Let these Doctors concentrate on how they will strengthen their own profession...
Thank God for this platform.

The Radiography and like wise other medically inclined profession is a soul body with an already established act which is autonomous. This was the multiplier effect in executing the profession maximally with no other who has no knowledge or the technical know how.I say NO to this bill for the betterment of the profession and the wellbeing of our people-patients.

Radiography, Radiology and Medical Physics are different professions and should be regulated by different bodies to avoid future hazards in the health sector.

That is totally wrong! Radiography is a profession on it's own.

Radiography has RRBN and ARN which regulates it. Setting up another regulatory bodY will cause serious chaos in health sector.

I merely see this bill as an outrageous attempt to create chaos in the health sector. How can a specialty seek the power to regulate and control a profession? Isn't that a gargantuan gaga? An outright misnomer that should be boo-booed by every compos mentis citizen of this country if we need the integrity of our health sector to be preserved.
The bill is tantamount to unnecessary duplication of the duties of the RRBN and therefore not to the interest of the health sector and patients who should be central in the thinking process of every medical expert

This bill if pass will cause more harm to medical practice in Nigeria.
How can a radiologists regulate radiographers, do dey really know wat is in radiography.
Can u regulate wat u don't know. Dat is a mismatch.
A radiography is a profession while a radiology is specialization.
Dat act has more harm Dan good.
It will bring more coarse to health sector

I am against such bill because we already have an act establishing a board that oversees the medical radiography profession in Nigeria. There is no similarity between the work of a radiographer and a radiologist. These are two different and distinct professions. Moreover radiography is a discipline on its own whereas radiology (as in a radiologist) is a specialization. This bill is nothing but a waste of time and resources on an issue which is not an issue.

RRBN is a governmental agent that regulates the activities of Radiographers and not NMA nor Radiologists.
Please let us embrace worldwide accepted practice.
