SAY "NO" TO AN ACT TO ESTABLISH THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF RADIOLOGY AND RADIATION MEDICINE

There is no need for a National Council of Radiology to regulate the practice of Radiography in Nigeria .This is being done already by the Radiographers' Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).This will only lead to duplication of function of the regulatory bodies.The Radiologist has no justification to regulating Radiography practice.Radiography in Nigeria is a profession that is established by law and its practice should only be regulated by its own.Thank you.

Nigerian government should please make haste to stop this madness from medical doctors before Nigeria health sector becomes 'boko haram'. I strongly say NO to this bill.

This is hijackings of radiography registration board of Nigeria by few and selfish individuals for personal benefits and subordinating other professionals and thwarting their progressive in health care delivery

This bill should be taken down with immediate effect. Enough of the decadence in the health sector caused by these medical doctors who obviously are deficient in their own field and yet wants to take charge of every other profession. This is a clear case of jack of all trade, master of none. They should leave radiographers, medical laboratory scientists and other health professionals alone. These are all distinct professions. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Please every profession should be allowed to practice as an entity.

Very soon, orthopedic surgeons will create their own council to regulate physiotherapists

Radiography is a profession on its own not a speciality, it need to be independent.

Please a message should be passed across to our insatiable medical doctors to concentrate on their profession and let other professions be. Must medical doctors dominate all Medical professions? We don't need any other regulatory body aside our RRBN which stands for Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria.

This act is a clear indicator that,the problems in health sector in Nigeria is geared by the colonization of the health systems by a single body ,that want to be indispensable forever. Radiography profession is one of the fields Nigerians can be proud of,I'm optimistic we are ahead of many countries interms of academic structure and resources persons ,yet A specialization want to enslave the Profession by plagiarism of an act sponsored in secrecy. Nigeria is no more a corrupt nation! We are a brand new nation with good legal reputation. Please justice should take it course and the culprits and sponsors to face the wrath of law.

The proposed bill is ill-conceived, ill-motivated and bogus. It's aimed at usurping the powers of another profession and creating further chaos and anarchy in the health care sector. It's a duplication of the functions of NNRA and RRBN and must be summarily condemned by all peace-loving Nigerians.

We must do what it takes to protect the Radiography profession.

It's a capital No to this bill,having a few of them specialise in radiology won't automatically make them take over a profession with thousands of professionals, that ain't jack of all trade nd it's not dine anywhere in the world.

No to Nigeria council of Radiology and radiation medicine. It's a duplication of regulatory fuction of Radiographer's registration board of Nigeria. Radiologist are regulated by MDCN because Radiology is a specialty in medicine.

This bill would create chaos in the already fragile Nigerian health industry
