I already have to wait about 4 weeks to have an appointment with my Doctor this area can not cope with any more people it is over crowded already. Thatcham infrastructure simply would not cope

We do not have the infrastructure to cope with 500 more homes in a small town like thatcham. It is simply a very bad idea.

Schools and Doctors at capacity. If we have another wet winter I am seriously worried about the holding ponds overflowing onto A4 and we all remember 2007. Why is this called Seige Cross I know its on Seige Cross Farm but the estate on the opposite side of the A4 is Seige Cross estate and has been since it was built in the 80's.

We do not need or want any more houses in Thatcham, the schools are bursting, we have no local police, and it is ruining the rural area
On addition to the points raised in the petition, Thatcham does not have the infrastructure to cope with an additional 500 homes. Access to the A4 is limited and the additional weight of traffic will cause considerable problems at rush hour.

The current infrastructure can't cope. The District Council has previously stated that the land could be used for up to 353 homes, not 500. The Developer has stated that a Primary School and a Community Centre COULD be built but is not making any commitment to do so. There is also very significant surface water flow down that hillside, Tarmac roads are going to provide it with a fast track onto the A4!

Thatcham was once an historical village,which is now just as big as a town . No more building on green belt! far to much open space has been lost already
