Our public services are stretched over their limits as it is now so what will another 500 homes do to all this, local children travelling miles to get to another school not in their town, waiting a month to see a doctor, this plan needs to be reconsider as not viable as it is!!!

Totally oppose this development. Kennet Heath was only supposed to be 500, never trust what the developers promise. I applaud you for doing this Stuart.

Thatcham is already struggling to provide adequate resources for its current population density. As a result it is already incredibly difficult to get access to community facilities from medical appointments through to school places and in some cases residents are forced to travel for miles to seek facilities in neighboring areas. The addition of 500 additional densely built residences without any investment in the infrastructure that will be needed to support those new families would be a disaster. Instead of managing developments like these for maximum profit, packing in as many houses as possible, we should be building for sustainability and quality of life.

Too many houses in Thatcham already with too little facilities such as schools, Surgeries and shops. Such a poor decision !!

There are plenty more development sites about and this certainly shouldn't be one, think of the wild life, the flooding (this field floods), the access, it is just an absolute nightmare and extremely crazy!

Thatcham has not the infrastructure for more development. It's becoming a barrack town. This is unacceptable in my eyes. They would be the size of shoe boxes & cost too much. Worthless!

If the councils hadn't sold off all the properties to developers and private landlords there would be enough houses
