First you kicked it out of Queen's Park and now this - what's going on?
Consistently the best festival in TO for the past decade.

Work the noise problem out. Afrofest is one of a kind.It is amazing and enriches all our lives. Fine them if they don't keep their agreements.Fine others who do not keep noise agreements.I live in the Beaches and I love the festival.

I just don't understand why black people are constantly targeted. The same rules should be enforced to ALL festivals not just one.. I have not heard of any other festival being reduced to one day! This is ridiculous

We are pleading that the AFRO FRIST festival remains two days, for some of us who can't go back home and show our children the African traditions these kind of gatherings brings back our culture and makes us happy and we fill at home. Thanks

I attend Afrofest during July and it is my favorite festival in the summer. I am shocked and saddened that the two day festival is shortened down to one day. I hope the city of Toronto will re consider their decision to do this. I am extremely disappointed.

I'm sure that the number of people complaining were significantly less than the number of people attending and enjoying Afrofest.

As a artist that has performed at Afrobeats with my band for 3+ years, I'm very disappointed and do not agree with the decision to have Afrofest for one day. There's other solutions that could be taken but what I'm hearing in regards to keeping it one day will not be one of them.

I am not sure why the festival will be 1day this year & if it is under good behaviour be granted permission to be a two festival again in 2017. This festival has been peacful since its inception and we have been nothing but respectful to all of the communities where we have been.

I live in the Beaches. Perhaps the Beaches Jazz should be shortened too. It lasts a lot longer, Queen st is closed to traffic on evenings for the Street-fest and also is also very noisy. To me Afro-Fest is a warm-up compared to the Jazz Festival in terms of noise. Mary-Margaret's head is in the sand on this one.
