Keep Toronto the way it is....AWESOME! The reason it's awesome is because of great festivals like Afro Fest. Please keep help these events thrive and grow!

Have you never listened to African Music? Have you been to this festival? It does not make sense that this festival would be reduced to one day when other festivals in this area take up more space and are much more noisy and get expansions (ie. Beaches Jazz Festival, which is also fabulous). Before considering this reduction, please go to the festival and listen to the music.

This is highly disappointing. I expected better from the city of Toronto. I should be surprised but I'm not. Anything that brings a diverse group of people together in the name of African or Caribbean culture will always be messed with.

Shame on Toronto for this stand they have taken. It show how intolerant they are to people of colour more specific black Africans. Shame! Shame! Shame! Shame! Shame! Shame! Shame! Shame! Shame!

I liked Queens Park better but I understand the logistics of having to move to Woodbine… It is essential to a multicultural city as Toronto and could bring in much revenue… It is a family orientated event another one like it in the city

I love Afrofest! It is the only cultural event that I look forward to in Toronto. I don't even attend Caribana and I'm from Trinidad and Tobago, but I always endeavor to attend Afrofest. I live that they bring bands that are my favorites such as Alpha Blondy and Kassav right in my back yard. You can't commonly find these types of band in concert. Please, please keep afrofest! And, invest into it!

This is one of the best festivals in the city. Good food great music and family friendly. Summer will never be the same without this to look forward to!

I've been attending Afrofest for years and consider it significant for Toronto's cultural enrichment and my pleasure of summer in the city...Of the many festivals I've attended, it's hardly disruptive sound wise given the Jazz festival runs all along Queen St. for a week and the Blues festival in the same park is of equal volume. Dare I say this is a race issue and this is what racism behaves like???
