This is a great festival and it should be more then a day fest... One thing I loved about Toronto is the many diverse events that happen..

This is a wonderful festival, please keep it as is! Everyone needs a chance to celebrate and share their culture of origin.

This is the best festival, so important for Toronto and for African culture in Canada, we would be losing a gem if it got cancelled!!

Afrofest is an important cultural event that encourages tolerance, togetherness and feelings of belonging for the African diaspora. Slashing it to only one day feeds into the racist NIMBYism and shows that diversity isn't our strength. Please keep this festival alive and treat it with the respect that it deserves.

if "NOISE" is really the issue, then please stop the Indy 500 and Air Show from screeching open the skies of Parkdale every summer

The fact that the City and councillor are doing is beyond shameful.

Ridiculous and racist action on the part of the City. Other festivals make the same amount of noise or more so why penalize just Afrofest?
