I believe that keeping the existing parking lot, and turning the current building (formerly Saxtons) into a commercial use would be best. Perhaps the building to be used for multi businesses, similar to Westchester Square Mall on Forest Ave.

"City of Homes" is Plymouth's motto! It is on our seal and such. We should act accordingly and prioritize homes and their history.

Firstly, I think it was a shame that the owners of Saxtons were pushed out of that location to make room for a parking lot.

In complete agreement with preservation of the atmosphere created by our traditional homes and downtown which attracted us here 35 yrs. ago to raise our family. I am also irritated and annoyed at homes that do not fit the lot or neighborhood invasion.

A parking structure in this location would be an eyesore to the downtown community; additionally it would disrupt the Maple Street homeowners' residential atmosphere. Put the parking structure BEHIND the library in the already designated parking area where it will not be an eyesore!

Ridiculous! Why not build a parking structure in the library parking lot? It's in a municipal lot, right downtown and would provide ample parking. There you go, problem solved, your welcome.

As a 55 year resident of Plymouth, I am vehemently opposed to a parking structure, of any sort, at the corner of A2 Trail and Deer. Thank you.

My family has lived here for a few generations and I am sick over all this demolition! Next there will be a Bed Bath and Beyond. this is NOT progress!

My grandparents bought the house at 674 Maple in 1944 or so. I lived there with my parents and brother from 1950 until I got married. My dad lived there until 1992. Do not demolish this house. It is a part of Plymouth.
