We all need improvement for Savusavu hospital

Fix the Dam Hospital

After almost losing my Dad in the hospital and had complications with my mom(given wrong medication) and losing my cousin last weekend, things need to change in this hospital, I have my families, and friends that use this facility. Its saddens me to see the state and condition it is in now, filthy,disgusting and is no place to treat or admit sick people. IAM ALL IN FOR THE CHANGE.

In a democratic society every human being is entitled to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of health conducive to living a life in dignity.

I support this petition Its a sad story for Savusavu n the world. With this Covid pandemic you think the hospital will be clean and inviting, so sad to see the condition of the place and how many families have lost their loved ones due to all the reasons mentioned that we are fighting for. Deaths of negligence that could be avoided I wonder when was the last time they used that generator, you think they would check all equipments and generator before the cyclone came.

I had a similar situation once when I took my dad to the hospital and the doctors and nurse were not available I had to look for them and I found the security guard who had to call a nurse who came directly from his quarters and served us...once he was done checking my dad, he told us to come next day to see a doctor and left before we got out of the ER to get in our car and second time I went myself since I had a bad stomach ache coz of gastritis...I was told that they had no medicine which could help me..so I asked if I could get n e thing to ease my pain...than was given a painkiller injection... for something like gastric they had no medicine at least this should b available

I support the petition and there should be a need to upgrade our medical services to avoid future problems

We cannot let this tragic incident happen ever again in Savusavu , or any other Hospital for that matter.
