Saving the Clark College paralegal program

The paralegal program at Clark college has been a very successful program for over 25 years. I enrolled in the paralegal program when it first began and have been in the business for over 31 years. I believe this program should continue to be offered by Clark college. For those interested in the legal field this program which is taught by people in the legal profession, provides a wealth of information and knowledge for a career in the legal field.. This program has also been very successful in finding job opportunities for students and for local attorneys looking to hire a paralegal. Save the Clark College Paralegal Program!

Please do not end the Paralegal Program at Clark County Community. Many students have put a lot of time, energy and money into this program and should be allowed to finish.

The paralegal is a very important field of specialized work. Our society needs more paralegals.

We have a lot going for us, the college, and for future students. Washington wants us, and demand is up.

Please keep the program.

Please do not discontinue this program. It is a very important program to the county and it's students. Have some consideration for the students that are enrolled that have put a lot of money, time and effort to be in this program.

I am a current student in this program and this program is what drew me to attend Clark College. This is the ONLY program in the area that teaches us Washington based law from an accredited college. There are numerous opportunities for paralegal within our community and the paralegal program has strong ties within the community. With the LLLT program in the works at Clark College this will draw more attention and more students to the college. As of right now LLLT is extremely new to the state and with the closest program being in Tacoma, WA this will draw students in Southern WA to Clark College.

Please keep this program. I'm a graduate of the Clark College Paralegal program. The program allowed me to advance in my career and to obtain my CLA certification. Graduates of this program greatly benefit not only the legal profession, but also related businesses with legal departments and social service organizations.

My best friend is currently in this program and is more inspired at 44 than I have ever seen her. To terminate such a valuable program would be a grave injustice. Our society needs more programs like this providing women in particular an opportunity to be educated and have careers in important fields. Please rethink and keep this program alive. #morewomen

The membership of the Washington STate Association for Justice in Clark County strongly supports continuation of the Paralegal program. I know a number of our members have employed individuals who attended the Clark College paralegal program and have been very happy with the work of these individuals. Members of our association feel strongly that live, face to face instruction is essential to train paralegals as professionals in this field. President Knight, please continue this program vital to the legal community.

I moved here for this program. Don't cut it please.

Cutting this program will prevent many of us from the LLLT program. We cannot finish this degree in Oregon, and the nearest school is in Tacoma WA.

I'm appalled that any bonuses would be given in a learning environment with budget issues. Which is almost all schools these days.
