I went to Scavo when it was first opened and in sw 9th w the ymca. My class created the first yearbook for the school. We had so many opportunities there. The staff was great. My husband and I and several friends needed this school. Don't take this option away!

Everyone is valuable to their society, family and self. Some people have a quicker and easier time towards positive engagement while others need more time and attention. View these engagements as opportunities or suffer the many consequences of disengagement from potential success.

Scavo is a life saving education for many students. It is difficult to understand why DM school systems continues to discontinue opportunities for helping those who need special caring support.

Scavo is very important in our community. It has a specific purpose that it has served well and should continue to do so.

Scavo is a safe learning environment that has helped numerous family members get the quality education they could not get in a traditional classroom. I have also witnessed several young individuals who couldn't cope inside a traditional class for one reason or another complete their high school career with self respect and confidence. We need Scavo to remain open.

Scavo is the place where people whom for whatever reason couldn't make it in a regular high school, I think the school voted on the appropriate masot the Phoenix moat of us were at our rock bottom but scavo allowed us to rise from the ashes of past life and create something of ourselves. I my self attended Lincoln High School from my freshman year in 2010 until I was kicked out in 2013 and was sent to DMACC's Gateway to college and dropped out a few months later and I never planed on going back until I was informed I was still eligible to go to attend Scavo and it was the best experience of my life I had the support of the entire staff and also from my peers and was reacquainted with so many friends from Lincoln and other schools that were sent or transfered over to Scavo for whatever reason I miss Scavo everyday and I'm prpud to say I'm a member of Scavo Graduatiom Class of 2016.

This school saved me! If it wasn’t for scavo I wouldn’t be sitting at an office. I would be back out in the streets or buried underneath them. Don’t take away this chance for other people to make something of themselves!

Although I have never been a student at Scavo, I have friends there who struggled in other schools but Scavo helped keep them on track. I have thought about going there myself because I have heard how helpful the staff and the school is. Please rethink this decision. Don't turn your back on us students.

This school and its teachers helped me so much I didn't think I was ever going to graduate high school but they turned my path around and gave me a brighter future please don't deprive future kids who struggle of a second chance without scavo I don't want to even imagine where I'd be

Scavo provided my grand daughter the opportunity to achieve her goal of graduation even though she was suffering severe nuerological health problems. Scavo provided her the flexible schedule and the teachers inspired her with hope that she could still achieve her educational and professional dreams moving into adulthood. Scavo provides access to benefits and awards for these students in difficult situations who can't afford college to attend for free in some circumstances. Our children NEED Scavo as an option.
