I went to Scavo when it was on Indianola Road! I didn't fit in with the jocks & cheerleaders @ Lincoln HS. I ended up graduating before my Lincoln Class! Please keep Scavo open!

Taking Scavo away is a huge mistake and will hurt so many of our children. Trust me when I tell you not everyone “Learns” the sane way.
I was one of those students who got shuffled around from teacher to teacher and different schools they called it a behavior disorder. I could not sit in a boring class and listen to a teacher talk it did not matter anyway bc I still didn’t understand how to do the assignments anyway. I would get bored and act out.
I went to many different schools and they were all the same.. I finally ended up at scavo and they showed me there was another option for Kids like me. I am smeon that needs hands on actually shown what to do and I can’t sit there for long hours. I know I needed a place like Scavo to get me through school and I know there aro so many kids out there That need Scavo as well.. please do no. I ate this school from so many children who need it.

Scavo is a great opportunity to help students with different circumstances complete high school and be better set up to succeed for the rest of their lives. Having a place like Scavo also the other high schools to run in a more traditional manner by providing a better fit for the students who don't learn in traditional ways.

Scavo has helped many people I know! It’s even allowed people I know to graduate early and succeed in life when they couldn’t at their original highschool. Don’t take Scavo away from students who deserve an education catered to their needs, lifestyles, and learning styles!

I Didn't attend Scavo but I did attend DM Alternative North which was just like Scavo and is now gone. These schools help teens stay in school no matter what! They took care of my daughter so I could graduate....with honors!

I graduated from Scavo in 2003. I also worked in the daycare there for half the day. It’s bad enough that the daycare for young moms is gone. Let’s not take away all home for so many students that might otherwise drop out!
