I would have never graduated High School if it wasnt for Scavo I had 2 children by the age of 18yrs old.. the option to have an education is very important for young Mother's in order to build a future for their children.. scavo had provided me with outstanding counseling to help me understand just how important an education is. I took parenting classes and was able to be in a well rounded environment to help me grow as a young mother. Please dont take this from our city and our youth that requires the extra incentive to learn and grow.

This school is needed for the DSMPS district. It would be a terrible mistake to close it down without another place for the kids to go.

I graduated from here in 1992 with my GED! I was a single mother I don’t know what I would have done without this place! Keep scavo opened!

I never went to Scavo but i saw the advantages to the school the first time I went into central campus. There were kids that had their own kids, kids who were disabled, kids who had no motivation to go to school at all but they still did bc they fit in at scavo. It’s a big mixing pot of different kids and experiences and it has helped so many people in so many different ways.

Dont close this school system it's needed for individuals that have issues at home; and have mental issues, this is a way for them to move forward.
