It was 26 years ago that this class changed my life. Had I not had the opportunity to take this class, I would have pursued another career. However because of this class, I changed career choices in my senior year of high school, instead pursuing a career in education. I have yet to experience one day in my last 23 years of teaching that I regret making that change in my career goals!

A child development class is more relevant than a video game class. it teaches us students responsibility and how to interact well with kids, while teaching valuable life lessons. please save child developement.

So many students have been encouraged and taught life skills in this class that it would be an incredible loss to the curriculum offerings at North Hills. I personally have seen many students benefits from this program and changed their life attitude or prepared them for the road ahead. These lessons are not easily taught, and only available through their own families if not this program. I strongly encourage the board to reconsider their decision and realize the bigger impact on student lives, especially after their graduation, and recognize that this program in particular lends a hand to rounding out the North Hills offerings and set our district apart from others as one of the best in the state.

I've had two daughters go through the program, and I feel that it helped them when they entered kindergarten, developmentally. To eliminate the program would be a great mistake.

Mrs Ziff was a huge influence on both of my children. This program helps so many of our children learn practical skills. It should not be pushed out like so many other classes.

I love Mrs. Ziff. Her class definitely should be kept at North Hills because then it will teach the students about the development of a child.!

Mrs. Ziff established positive and engaging learning activities/interactions between her high school students and those who were enrolled in the preschool program. She always had an up-beat and nurturing attitude for all of those involved in this program which is a crucial element for modeling life-long learning skills. Child Dev. 1 and 2 were always two electives that students would try to select before any other electives because of the wonderful academic experiences these courses contributed to for students. Please keep these two classes at North Hills.

Child development is a wonderful class, and it connects the students in the school with children of the community. This class taught me all the life skills I know, thanks to Mrs. Ziff. In my opinion this class is essential to the students acedemic curriculum.

Mrs. Ziff is one of the most influential and caring teachers at north hills. She genuinely cares about teaching her students skills they will be able to use in real life. i wouldn't have the babysitting expertise I have with out her class and her teaching. She has a way of keeping students interested and continually learning! Keep this class in schools for students to learn valuable life skills!!!!
