I think it's hypocritical of our mayor to keep ShotSpotter around for the benefit of the DNC attendees, but dismantle it afterwards. The people of Chicago are the ones in most need police protection. We pay the bills, and we're the ones who do the living and the dying here. Please remember that, Mr. Mayor.

Shotspotter enables cops to get to gunshot victims sooner and give emergency care quicker a than rescue squad/paramedics.

Please, we need shot-spotter. Save it. I signed petition & family, friends living in Chicago. It seems to help victims, police quickly get the info needed in order to go where shots fired to find what occurs. Having others sign too. Jane Gjondla, Chicago, IL.
