Shotspotter saves lives period. Without it the stigma of Chicago will get worse because the body counts will get higher and more people will move out driving away businesses and higher taxpayers driving down costs of real estate. It's a no brainer.

The citizens of Chicago, as well as visitors to our beautiful city, should be provided with every opportunity to swift responses by first responders in the event of an injury or death committed by persons with criminal intent in mind.
Please keep this technology available to us. We are the ones helping to pay for it. We should have a say in our safety and protection.

Shot spotter should be kept in our communities for the reason that it has save lives and many people don't call police. This has the ability to put a patrol car at the scene many people will not call 911 due to the fact that police officers are busy elsewhere because of the shortness of officers.

Theres funding for migrants but not enough money when it comes to the tax payers of Illinois. We need shoot spotter to continue in Illinois.
