The families in this part of the Borough need inclusive and supportive places to go. Universal stay and plays can work with local schools to ensure excellent and continued provision for local children as they begin their educational journeys. Removing this provision would impact educational as well as social opportunities.

They are not only trying to close this centre but also try to deny our children a green place to exercise when we need it most. They want to destroy about 50 mature trees in order to build all over York Gardens.

These centres are highly needed ie for myself who cant afford childcare, and rely on centres such as these for my children to stay and play as well as having the opportunity to gain social skills with other children, seriously what is wrong with our councils and goverment to keep closing down centres that are highly valued and needed within the community.

The centre is such an important facility for an area which is in need of support. How can it be thought to be a good idea to close it.

We need places for children to play. As there are fewer and fewer houses with gardens in the area where we live.

Not enough places for children. Removing this facility will diminish the amenity for local people and their families
