I want to keep thunder road because my family and I have a lot of memories... That was the first ride That my family rode together.

so much has changed at carowinds in the last few years especially this one. It was hard to see the big White House go just go make way for a new ride. I remember thunder road being one of my first roller coasters and honestly just don't think it should go. If anything take out the cyclone no one likes that one

ThunderRoad has been a part of my life since Carrorinds opened in the 1970s it is my favorite of the wood built roller coasters it has always been an icon for Carrowinds as u approach the park!!!Please don't destroy ThunderRoad. It helped make Carrowinds what it is today!!!

Destroying a WOOD coaster is never acceptable unless it is being replaced by an even better WOOD coaster (not steel, not a "hybrid," not a water park expansion or another attraction). Please do not destroy this classic ride!

Keep it there for nostalgia's sake. Develop other things elsewhere in the park. Thunder Road is a big memory for native Charlotteans!

At least only move it in the park if you have to. Do not tear it down. It always had that race between north and South Carolina feel. It was fun as a kid. Also it is one of the last of its kind

We're losing too many of these classic wooden coasters because of management that doesn't see their historic significance to the the park.
