How can this be? I can't make it to Carowinds this year because I just had a c-section. Not fair! I'm sure there is a way to expand the park and still keep this awesome ride! This is like the 1st big roller-coaster that you ride for the 1st time! Please don't tear it down!

This is one of the best roller coasters that carowins has and is also one of the oldest and idk y u guys are going to remove it.

Save Thunder Road!! Classic wooden out and back coaster. Not many left anymore! Major part of my life in high school and college and getting to take my children and now grandchild for a ride on it meant a lot!! Don't let it go!!!

Please please please save Thunder Road!!! It was my very first coaster! Its something that I wanted to show my child and have her ride. It's a HUGE part of Carowinds!!!

Thunder Road is what saved Carowinds when it was built. I have been working on the history of Carowinds since mid April. I can tell you this, it will be a part of history to take this ride out. If it wasn't for Thunder Road they would not be Carowinds, trust me I know. Whatever they have planned then take the money and redo Thunder Road to where it will last. If Thunder Road goes they will be only two wooden coasters left ( Hurler and Scobby Doo).

Save this great historical and nostalgic ride!! So many changes us older people love having memories flood us by seeing our all time faves when we visit the park!
