This was my first "adult" coaster almost 30 years ago. My best friend and I rode it probably 10 times that first day we were brave enough to try it. I believe it is an important historical landmark in your park. Change and progress are not always best.

This was my first coaster and the epitome of nostalgia! It saddens me to see theme parks tearing down the rides that first attracted park enthusiasts just to make room for bigger rides based on technology. Where will we be in 10 or 20 years if we keep eradicating all of the wonderful and historic things about our theme parks that drew us in as children? Isn't that the magic that keeps us coming as adults? I don't see Disney tearing down Cinderella's castle...

Wooden coasters are roller coasters too!! It's not all about going upside down or 325 feet up. Thunder Road is a Carowinds icon. Bring more to the back of the park if people have stopped riding it, don't just scrap it!

Save Thunder Road, but restore it! Tighten up everything, its become loose and jerky. Its an important piece of the parks history, keep it running smoothly!

This roller coaster has not only been a huge part of my carowinds life, but also my fathers. It was the first coaster he ever rode, same with me. If they are concerned about its sturdiness, carowinds can always rebuild it.
