I know thunder road is an old coaster but SO many people from all over come and ride that ride. Its an old classic don't tear it down, if it's unsafe, rebuild it!!!

Save thunder road it's my favorite ride there my daughter and I hold the record for this ride 76 times with out getting off it was awesome

To the person above me saying they got a concussion recently from riding Thunder Road... It would seem as though you were trying to capitalize off the recent surge of concern/support of this rollercoaster. If so--get real. Carowinds save this coaster and don't let anyone stop you! There is much too much support for this to be ignored now!

Glad to see this coaster will be leaving the park. After riding on May 29th I sustained a concussion from the North Carolina side and had to visit the Emergency care on N.Tryon street. I will be bringing a lawsuit against Cedar Point LLC for their blatant disregard for my safety by not properly maintaining this ride!

No! I remember riding this as a kid and I'm 28. It's part of what founded Carowinds you can't tear it down!

Please keep Thunder Road. I love coasters but I dont like the upside down ones. Thunder Road is my absolute favorite .

Thunder Road is a true classic and part of the fabric of the park. I am pleased to see the attention given to Carowinds by Cedar Fair. I am happy that they seem to be taking the interest now to recognize the history of the region with the new park changes. Please don't back track and tear down ACTUAL history of the park. The Hurler you can have, but Thunder Road IS Carowinds.

Thunder Road is a iconic coaster at the park. And i do understand that old rides must go for new developments. However the ride out ways the expansion. If you need new rides in the waterpark might i suggest moving Catawba Trce road back to increase room or remove "temporary" white water falls to increase room as well. Some rides are just to traditional to remove.

Please save thunder road I have been riding this ride my whole life. I would hate to see it go since it holds so many memories. It's old & worn but you always get a good laugh on it and always get off smiling.

I wouldn't want to remove Thunder Road for a new coaster, more less, a water park expansion. Bad move, Carowinds. Big, new, and fast is awesome... But Nostalgia wins every time.

the BEST wooden roller coaster EVER! The primary reason we pick Carrowinds over other theme parks is Thunder Road.
