save it that is my favorite ride and if they take it away who will win the race south or noth carolina i loved racing the peeps in south carolina or vise versa. why take it away when it is to much fun to step away how are we supposed to give it away forever

This is my favorite coaster. I've rode it since I was a little kid. My daughter loves it too. Will be too sad if it's torn down.

Why would u cut down the original carowinds 1st 3 wasye of wood money and time it was one of my favorite tides why not another ride like the hurler taking it down is just not right

Save this classic wooden coaster. It serves no purpose to destroy it when they can tunnel through it and build the water park on the other side .

Don't remove it. I have ridden The Racer at Kings Island and Rebel Yell at Kings Dominion and they are both great classic woodies. Both have lots of amazing airtime. Thunder Road is the same ride as both but even better because it crosses two states. Not to mention a water park expansion next year wouldn't make any sense, you just got one last year. You should add new family/kid rides to Planet Snoopy next year.

Thunder road is so classic. It takes you back to a time of when the coaster was originally put in. It was a wild bumpy ride. I love this roller coaster and I think the idea of them adding water park stuff is no way to compensate. I do not go to carowinds for water rides. I go for roller coasters.

Don't tear this down! This is the only reason I come to Carowinds! Not everyone wants to ride The Intidator and not everyone wants to ride the Flying Ace Aerial chase! You need a coaster like thunder road! I don't care about water parks!!!!!!!!

Outrageous! Every amusement park needs a classic wooden roller coaster. Tearing down Thunder Road is pure imbecility.
