This is the best ride Carowinds has....,why would you think of tearing it down? I grew up riding this roller coaster, and though I'm not far from being 50, it's still the most memorable one I've ever ridden!

Please do not fear down this roller coaster. Too many memories for myself growing up that I want to bring to my kids one day. We can't continue to destroy our history rather we must preserve it.

Opened up Carowinds as a child and grew up there since we lived so close. We rode our bikes to the park. Spent LOTS of my youth there and riding the fabulous Thunder Road over and over and over again. I can't imagine Carowinds without it. Hate to think they can't wait until the end of the season to give us all a chance to ride it one last time. I'll be in the area about 16 days after its last final run. ;( Super sadness. Many great memories at the park and on that ride. My fav way was riding the cars backwards. ;) Keep Thunder Road!

This is one of my favorite rides it was the last one I rode at a school field trip. I loved it, I want Thunder Road to stay.

My first roller coaster! My dad rode four separate times each year with his four chicken girls. Now I ride at least three spectate times with my three chicken kids. Keep the coaster! Best ride ever!

One of the better rollercoasters that they have. I think it would be a big mistake to do away with such a major landmark of the theme park.
