i have been attending carowinds park since i was a child, and this has always been one of my favorite rides!! gives more than just thrill, competition to win the race as well :)

Sad to see the original thrill ride go. The erstwhile Hurler would be a better choice to demolish.

Once again, Thunder Road is not unique. It's a clone of Rebel Yell. There's so many racing woodies in the world that I can't even bother to count.

This coaster is unique, and it was a special part of my childhood. I love coming to Carowinds as an adult, and I don't even like most of the new rides. Thunder Road is worth keeping!

This is one of the best rides at carowinds. We want it to stay and just built onto the park instead of taking rides away.
