Please do not retire Thunder Road. It has been a huge draw for Carowinds. Everyone loves Thunder Road and everyone has a story about Thunder Road. It is truly an iconic part of the park and shouldn't be retired.

This was my first roller coaster ever. I'm sure it was the first for many others too. It's so historic to the park, and I can't believe after a rehab and how smooth it is now, they could just rip it out like this. Very sad about this news.

I came to Carowinds a lot when I was younger but never rode it because I was too scared. I got too big for the rides in high school and am working on my weight with the goal of coming back and riding everything in the park and that dream includes Thunder Road!

This roller coaster is an iconic piece of Carowinds. To remove it would be a huge mistake and will cost you paying customers.

I would hate to see another piece of Carowinds history destroyed. Too much has been lost already.
