Best coaster anywhere, Leave it alone you metal bullies, no one wants you! Nothing like the ride on a classic wooden roller coaster, It makes Carolinians proud to have the best wooden coaster.

This coaster holds many childhood memories for myself and thousands of others. It was the first big coaster I ever rode.

Don't tear down iconic wood coasters. Build new structures up , through or around. Give it it the Rocky Mtn treatment. Thank you.

We can swim anywhere but we can only ride roller coasters at Carowinds in the Charlotte area. Don't take this classic away!

That was one ride I could get on and just enjoy the thrill of a old style coaster and it let me know where I'm at on carowinds blvd when I was going to work both and carowinds and as a security officer and my site down the road

At 8 years old this is the first roller coaster my dad let me ride. I remember feeling of the wind rush through my hair and wanting to go again and again. This ride sparked my love for thrill and was the first thing that made me love carowinds. To lose this ride would be to lose a beloved childhood memory

Thunder Road more than any other attraction is synonymous with Carowinds. It is an icon of not just Carowinds but the history and culture of Charlotte. Instead of giving up on the ride it should be restored to its former glory. Future expansion can be accommodated around it if the will to do so is there.

Please don't tear down this iconic rollarcoster... it's perfect the way it is. Don't sarifice it just because you THINK there is something better coming in the future. Stay true to a classic wooden rollarcoster.

This is a landmark I rode as a kid and have shared with my son. I would hate to see it disappear.

If they want to take out one of the wooden coasters they should get rid of The Hurler.
